Practicioner’s Statement

For the past decade, I have pursued holistic medicine academically and as a personal passion. Studying Chinese Medicine in Canada, China and in the States has given me a truly global perspective into the ancient systems of medicine and how they compliment modern day healthcare. I am also deeply passionate about and have found great benefit from an active Awareness practice. I have studied Qigong and Meditation and often bring these practices into the treatment room.

The body is a holistic environment with many different physical, emotional and mental systems interconnected. Our bodies have evolved to handle tremendous stress and strain. In balancing the response of each of our systems, sometimes our stability is shaken, and we lose equilibrium. Awareness, Acupuncture, Patience, Qigong, and other methods can be used to help restore your body’s own innate health and wellbeing!

Christopher Miller is a graduate of Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, California with a Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine. He maintains Acupuncture licenses in both Oregon and California and holds multiple certifications from the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, the American Academy of Physical Oriental Medicine and the International Institute of Medical Qigong.

His studies span a decade and two continents including training at the prestigious Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in Hangzhou, Liaoning Chinese Medical University in Shenyang, China and the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada.

Christopher has held internships in Fertility, Sports Injuries and Five Element Acupuncture and has completed masterwork in Tuina and Shiatzu.
Along with extensive TCM training, Christopher Miller, LAc. brings a deep respect for Western-based medicine to his practice. He has earned his Bachelors in Biomedical Science from Colorado State University and has worked both as an EMT and Wilderness First Responder.
